Nürtingen, Germany - June 14, 2022 - ADS-TEC Energy (NASDAQ: ADSE) will once again be a partner exhibitor of Robert Bosch and Buderus at the leading trade fair for the energy industry "E-world energy & water" from June 21 to 23, 2022 in Essen. As a developer and manufacturer of energy platforms based on highly integrated battery storage technology and its world-leading ultra-fast charging solutions for limited grid connections, the company fits perfectly into the portfolio of intelligent products for holistic energy management that will be shown by the co-exhibitors.

Trade fair highlight ChargeBox - 320 kilowatts of charging power for limited grid connections

As a fast-charging station, the ChargeBox combines everything that makes for convenient charging: it is maximally powerful, offers ultra-fast charging (100 kilometers in about 5 minutes), and is extremely compact and whisper-quiet. It consists of a charging cube with integrated buffer battery and two separate charging stations. The innovative feature is that the box connects directly to normal 400-volt grids and charges itself permanently on the grid, then boosts the energy to maximum power when needed. This makes the system suitable for almost any location on the main distribution grid - whether downtown or in the rural area, in the center of a residential neighborhood or in a company parking lot.

Operators of fast charging stations can plan completely new concepts and develop innovative business models based on this flexible solution. If, for example, 50 kilowatts of connection capacity is still available at a company grid or at a service station, a ChargeBox can be set up in a short time without investing a lot of time and money in the construction measures of an elaborate grid expansion. The deciding factor here is that the grid is no longer the limiting factor, as is the case with conventional fast charging stations that can only generate their power from the grid. The ChargeBox always provides maximum power, while the grid is spared in the process, even if many vehicles are charging at the same time.
